Skiopening 2025/26

When the first snow falls, the mountains sparkle in white, and the slopes of Obertauern come back to life, it’s time for the start of winter – and in 2025, it’s going to be something truly special! We're kicking off the ski season with a musical double highlight like never before: On November 28, Seiler und Speer will set the town center buzzing with their iconic songs. Just one week later, on December 5, the celebrated Austropop duo Edmund will deliver emotional goosebump moments amid the snowy mountain scenery.

Christmas Market

The Tauern Advent in Obertauern invites you once again in 2025 to enjoy contemplative hours
amidst the snow-covered mountains. Away from the hustle and bustle, you can expect a traditional christmas market with regional delicacies, arts and crafts, and a lovingly designed program.

We are opening our doors on November 27th, 2025 and are looking forward to welcoming you for the coming season.

Opening concerts:
We are happy that Seiler und Speer will start the season with us on November 28th, followed by Edmund on December 5th. Both concerts will be taking place directly in front of our house.

Open slopes:
